Young boy with his drum playing with the naval orchestra in Veracruz Mexico

During our trip back home we stopped in Veracruz in Veracruz Mexico. Fine town and we got a space to park Benzi near the harbor and took a stroll into town. Little did we know about what day it was and that there was to be some gathering with a marching band from the navy. When we to our surprise did see the marching band coming I quickly noticed a small young boy marching behind the band. It was definitely not his first march and he was prepared to join the band with his drum attached and mother near by. I followed him with my camera and my favorite lens the Canon 24 - 70mm for a while and when the marching band lined up he proudly took his place next to the band. I guess the future is set for him and he already has made up his mind of becoming a drummer in the naval marching band.
