Two years on the road through North and Central America, photographing strangers as if they were neighbours.

The project became a self-published book and a lecture series that toured Iceland's national museum and photography schools.

The Way I See It

I do not go out hunting for pictures. I go out living — and occasionally, if I am paying attention, something jumps in front of the lens and asks to be photographed.

The Way I See It is an ongoing series now drawing from more than twenty countries.
